One of the most stressful and important moments of a students stay in Canada is their arrival. It is so important to everyone that he/she is met on time, every time.

We, at Language Limousine, are consistently reminded of the fact that students are often left at the airport to fend for themselves. Host families, agents, and other driver services are either late, out of sight, inattentive, or will not wait long enough and often will miss your student. It has become so alarming, that airport "Green Coat" volunteers are now keying in on and are making an extra effort to assist students who are left stranded at the airport. When host families pick up Students they:

  • Always have the best intentions, however, have other commitments. Language Limousine specializes in International Student Meet & Greet and our greeter is at the airport committed to give your student a great welcome to Canada.
  • Often arrive over an hour after the flight arrives. This roll of the dice is not good enough for the students who are quick to get through Canada Immigration and are out in the arrivals area a half hour after the flight arrives. Language Limousine arrives 30 minutes after the flight arrives. Our commitment is be there on time, every time.
  • Get frustrated when the wait is long and/or will leave without the student. Language Limousine staff are seasoned professionals who are familiar with the long delays. Many hand us their signs and ask us to take their student to their home.   Language Limousine is paid to be there as long as it takes. When the student does finally arrive, they will be greeted professionally. We are thorough and reliable.
  • Cannot be easily contacted if the student is unable to locate them or has changed their flight itinerary. Language Limousine has a 24 hour “live” phone number. Our staff are immediately notified of any problems or changes.
  • Would rather be home and have the students hand delivered to them.  We, at Language Limousine, know that this is contrary to come homestay coodinator's belief's.  Almost every host family we talk to, does not want to be at the airport.  There are too many variables and so much can go wrong.  Language Limousine staff wants to be there.

When Other Driver Services and Agents Pick Up Students:

  • Most are not properly licensed or insured to carry passengers for hire and are therefore picking up passengers illegally. Language Limousine has a Motor Carrier Licence and $10,000,000.00 liability policy per vehicle.
  • Many use large buses or do not have enough vehicles to be efficient. Your students are kept waiting, sometimes hours, until the van fills up with students arriving throughout the morning. Language Limousine has a different philosophy. We own a fleet of vehicles. We use smaller vans and make rapid runs out with fewer students that allows us to get back to the airport quickly. This eliminates delays at the airport for your tired students and gets them to their host homes quickly and efficiently.

When your employees pick up students they:

    • Are kind enough to use their own vehicles or company vehicles to greet students. Language Limousine has learned that this too is illegal and puts the owner of the vehicle in a liability situation.
